借助精确化学合成、先进物理表征和计算机辅助理论模拟等手段来探索与生命体系和生物过程密切相关的物理化学本质;基于化学合成和超分子组装构建具有类生命性质的功能材料,模拟细胞和生命体的结构与性能,揭示软物质材料的形成机制和界面特性;拓展软物质材料在生物医学领域中的应用,特别是发展与人类疾病相关的体外检测技术。近年来在Nat Chem、Sci Adv、J Am Chem Soc、Angew Chem Int Ed、Adv Mater等国际学术期刊上共发表论文60余篇。
